The striking gorge known as the Devil’s Pulpit in Finnich Glen, Stirlingshire, was featured in Outlander: It appears in Season 1, Episode 6, standing in for St Ninian’s Spring (aka Liar’s Spring), where Dougal tests Claire's honesty by making her drink from the spring The rugged 70 ft-deep sandstone gorge with its iconic pool and mossy cliffs provided a dramatic visual backdrop.
